The vibrant sixth edition of the festival “Pod Zemja Polesno Se Dishe” // It’s Easier To Breathe Underground is developing in full steam! On Saturday, (December 22) at 20.00 o’clock we again go underground, in the garages at Plochnik to cleanse ourselves from the small-minded, city and media pollution. As an alternative, we offer the filter of the loud music, the mysterious art, the performative dance and the cold underground as a transformation of that same pollution into perception.

Alternative for better health!
>The multimedia festival ‘It’s Easier To Breathe Underground’ for the fifth time in Skopje!

Even though it’s deemed the most polluted city in Europe, Skopje is the only choice for the realization of this year’s festival. The multimedia festival ‘It’s Easier To Breathe Underground’ offers you an unforgettable night with rich repertoire for cultural inhalation of the fresh visual and music production from the country and abroad!

The music programme, traditionally compound of new and inevitable musical achievements from the country and region, offers the extraordinary opportunity to introduce You to the following bands:

KONVOJ BONTON BAJKERA (Belgrade)
They use distortion exclusively on the ’Saxophone’ NESTO on the keyboard. They play synthetic punk-rock and holler about love / the hate among the truck drivers, the bikers, the policemen, the hippies, the runaway high school hitchhikers and all the others scoundrels on the road. The new single ‘tužićutemami’, announcing their second album coming out in January, will be released on the day of the festival.

  TRANSHUNTER (Skopje)
A heroically automated bridging of distant inhuman states and their forging into alchemic weapons of salvation (for some).

  SVETLOST (Skopje)
Ambiental jazz trio consisted of Ninoslav Spirovski (clarinet / saxophone), Kristijan Novkovski (percussion) and Deni Omeragikj (bass guitar / synths / electronics). Currently working on their debut LP, containing three long compositions incorporating various styles like free jazz, post-punk, ambient and electro-acoustic music.

For the first and only time in Skopje, eventually second, the Multimedial festival ‘It’s Easier To Breathe Underground 5’ is featuring the so-called Kula Collective with their musical spectacle ’Shutophony’. The project is about breaking the barriers between the two main categories of the festival, the music art and fine art production.

‘Cinema corridor’, a novelty in the festival’s programme, is a space dedicated to the audio-visual mediums where experimental videos, animations and short films will be projected.
